Indian Americans and Filipino Americans, are they really minorities?

Minorities mean people with less power and priviledges. It does not mean people who are less in numbers! According to the Table 8 of US Census Bureau Demographics, Asian Indians are the highest paid ethnic group ($67,000) followed by the Filipino Americans ($62,000) household income. They are also the most educated and lowest level of poverty than any other race in America. Plus both are English proficient with the overwhelming majority having professional occupations and does not reside on ethnic enclaves like ghettos, barrios, chinatowns, etc. The Indians and Filipinos predominantly live in all-out white neighborhoods. So should they be considered minorities, when their income and education is higher than whites or any other race in this country?
