My doctor and his nurse cannot seem to hear the baby's heartbeat through the doppler...?

i can see my baby on the sonogram but i am 18 weeks and have yet to hear it i can see her and she is fine...should i be concerned, why is this? and i know you guys are not rocket scientists but i just wanted thoughts and input i ume if he is not worried no need for concern but wouldn't you be?
